The Jackson Library in coordination with the Jackson Headstart held a Children's Veteran's Day Parade at the Jackson Veteran's Home on Nov. 14th. Children from Jackson Headstart and students from Jackson Middle School attended the parade. Jackson Middle School allowed the 4-H students who received awards this year to participate. There were 3 decorated wagons with patriotic music playing in the parade as the children marched down the main hall and waved to veterans. The Headstart children waved flags they made and gave some of the their falgs to veterans as they passed by. The children and the veterans had a great time and look forward to the parade next year.
