Children's books checked out on children's cards by children will not be charged fines, the Audubon Regional Library Board decided at the October 14, 2009 Board Meeting.
Parents or guardians will continue to be responsible for lost or damaged books.


The 2010 Proposed Library Budget is available at all branches of the Library for public inspection.
A public hearing on the budget will be held on December 10, 2009 at the East Feliciana Clerk of Court's Office Meeting Room at 8:30 a.m. before the regularly scheduled Board Meeting. The Clerk of Court's Office is located at 12305 St. Helena Street in Clinton LA.
The budget highlights include more funding dedicated to public access computers and computer support, a stable book budget, and dedicated funding for both parishes' building funds.
