USE OF THE LIBRARY MEETING ROOM BY COMMERCIAL GROUPS

Adopted June 11, 2001

1. All meetings must be open to all members of the public and the emphasis of the meeting must be on the educational aspects of the subject rather than the commercial.

2. No products or services may be discussed which are available only through your firm or business.

3. No products or services may be sold or contracted for within the library.

4. The use of BHPL’s facilities in no way implies the library’s endorsement or support. A statement to this effect must be made at the opening of the program.

5. All publicity regarding your program must make clear that your firm or business is the sole sponsor of this program.

6. The Library reserves the ability to cancel any meeting which violates the conditions stated in this agreement.

7. Fee for use of the Meeting Room by commercial groups will be $ 25.00 per session. Payment is due when the application for use is approved and must be received before the date of the meeting.
