Directions to Berkeley Heights Public Library

From Gillette

Go east on Valley Rd. (becomes Springfield Ave.). Turn right onto Plainfield Avenue. Go one third of a mile. The library will be on your left.

From Summit and New Providence

Go west on Springfield Avenue. Just before the intersection of Springfield and Plainfield Avenues, you will see an enormous American flag. Turn left onto Plainfield Avenue. Go a third of a mile. The library will be on your left.

From Scotch Plains and Watchung

Go north on Martine Ave/Park Ave. Turn left onto New Providence Rd. Turn left on Bonnie Burn Rd. (becomes Plainfield Ave.) Continue on this road through three traffic lights. Pass Columbia School on the left; pass Little Flower Church on the right. The library is directly after the church. The entrance to the parking lot is immediately after the library building.

Route 78 E/W

Exit 41: If traveling WEST, turn RIGHT at the end of the ramp onto Drift Rd. If traveling EAST, turn LEFT at the end of the ramp onto Drift Rd.

Turn left at the first light onto Plainfield Avenue. Continue straight through one light; pass Columbia School on the left; pass Little Flower Church on the right. The library is directly after the church. The entrance to the parking lot is immediately after the library building.

Route 22 East

After passing the Blue Star Shopping Center on left, follow signs for Berkeley Heights/Scotch Plains. Exit RIGHT by Snuffy's, turn RIGHT to cross over Route 22. Turn LEFT at the traffic light onto Bonnie Burn Road (becomes Plainfield Avenue). Continue on this road through three traffic lights. Pass Columbia School on the left; pass Little Flower Church on the right. The library is directly after the church. The entrance to the parking lot is immediately after the library building.

Route 22 West
After passing McDonald's on your right, follow signs for Berkeley Heights/Murray Hill and exit RIGHT onto Bonnie Burn Road (becomes Plainfield Avenue). Rt. 287 South - Northern Jersey
Take Rt. 287 South. At exit 37 take Rt. 24 East. After 10 miles take Rt. 78 West. Take Exit 41. Turn right at the end of the ramp onto Drift Rd. Turn left at the first light onto Plainfield Avenue. Garden State Parkway
Take the Garden State Parkway (south or north depending on your starting location) and follow the signs to Rt. 78. Take Rt. 78 West, then take Exit 41.
