Honor and Memorial Book Program
One of the most sincere ways of honoring someone's memory or paying tribute to them on a special occasion is by making a tax deductible donation to the Charlotte County Library System's Honor and Memorial Book Program.
Your monetary donation assists the libraries in their efforts to provide books and materials that would not otherwise be available to our patrons. It is truly a gift to the community in which we live.
Tree of Knowledge? Giving Tree
The Tree of Knowledge is a project of the Friends of the Mid-County Regional Library. Funds raised will be used for landscaping and benches in the courtyard at the new Mid-County Regional Library. Extra funds will help the Friends fund new acquisitions, programs and special projects which enhance the services offered to all who will be using the library. Your donation will help maintain an area resource for you and the community.
The Tree of Knowledge is a permanent, golden cherry hand-crafted wood and cast sculpture, 5 1/2 ft. tall by 6 ft. wide. It will be wall-mounted in the front lobby of the new library and the names of all donors will be included. The tree provides a unique opportunity to memorialize or honor a loved one(s) or recognize a business or organization. Each recognition includes an engraved plaque with an inscription of your choice.
