SUMMER READING PROGRAM CATCH THE READING BUG - Join "Catch the Reading Bug" this summer at the Clarence Dillon Public Library and discover the amazing world of insects. The 2008 Summer Reading Program is open to young people, preschool through young adult, with programs, story hours, a reading club, crafts, and movies. During the next two months children can participate in our Bulletin Board Reading Game and explore books on topics which interest them. ART EXHIBIT Local artist John Reilly will exhibit a collection of his paintings entitled "Summerscapes." These paintings show the sounds and sights of the sunny season and are all painted with a kids point of view from the hands of a senior citizen. There are many local scenes on exhibit including the Jersey shore, the Delaware River, and towns like Oldwick, Gladstone, Bernardsville, and Lambertville. The exhibit will be held in the Johnson & Brady Meeting Rooms and is free and open to the public. |
