The FRIENDS of the Fanwood Memorial Library have now extended their Annual Book Sale to four consecutive days:
** Thursday, September 24 from 3 to 7 pm is Members Only PREVIEW during which FRIENDS members are invited to preview and buy any item (Scotch Plains Library Friends are Welcome. Membership may be purchased at the door).
The Sale Opens to the Public:
** Friday, September 25 from 9 am to 5 pm, and on
** Saturday, September 26 from 9 am to 4 pm.
** Sunday, September 27 the Sale concludes with $5 BAG DAY from 12 to 4 pm.
The Sale will once again be held at Forest Road Park, three blocks from the Fanwood Library, at the end of Forest Road, across Midway.
DONATION GUIDELINES:
Volunteers will begin accepting and sorting donations at Forest Road Park [NOT the library] on September 17th.
DROP OFF HOURS ARE:
Thursday 9/17: 3pm – 7pm
Fri 9/18 & Sat 9/19: 10am – 1pm
Mon 9/21: 10am – 2pm
Tues 9/22: 3pm – 7pm
WE WILL GRATEFULLY ACCEPT - Recent fiction, hardcover and paperback, for all ages, children's books at all levels, current or relevant non-fiction in all subject areas, CDs and DVDs.
WE CAN NOT ACCEPT - We cannot use toys, games, puzzles, textbooks, video or audio cassettes, encyclopedias, or old, dated fiction and non-fiction. Please do not bring musty, mildewed or Damaged ANYTHING!
We heartily welcome volunteers and guarantee you will enjoy yourself!

Food Historian and Tea Specialist Judith Krall-Russo held forth on the wonders of the glorious blueberry.
