Teen & Adult Summer Reading Lists - June 29 through July 5
This week's summer reading theme is Scandals. If you're signed up for summer reading, look for the electronic list below on this page or drop by the library to pick up a paper copy. Read a book on the list (or more than one) and drop your name in the drawing for weekly prizes. Our second week's winners were Rhonda Moore & Sarah Bialik!
Stonecarving for All Ages - Tuesday, July 7 starting at 1:30 p.m.
The Nelsons allow participants to work together to create a piece of limestone artwork and keep a chip as a piece of jewelry. Children must pick up a ticket for their events at either 1:30, 3 or 4:30 p.m. This year the Nelsons offer their first workshop for teens & adults at 6:30 p.m. Teens & adults will help create the library's new name marker and use the chips as a necklace. Call 824-2080 to signup.
Game Day @ the Library - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday, July 11
Join others for Xbox, PlayStation and Wii games at the library. This event is free and open to ages 15-25. the library provides and Xbox 360 console and television, but other systems and controllers are needed. No registration required.
