Greenwood County Library's microfilm holdings by the GCL Reference Department staff and volunteers. Coverage includes:

Our online index is currently not available, but we have the following years already indexed that we can search for you: 1895-1905, 1907, 1917-1918, 1947, 1970-1972, 2001 (added 10/4/06!), 2002, 2004-05

If you cannot come to the library, the Reference staff accepts requests. Mail requests with the pertinent information to the Reference Department, Greenwood County Library, 106 North Main Street, Greenwood, SC 29646 or email ReferenceDesk@greenwoodcountylibrary.org. Photocopies are $1.00 per obituary. Make checks/money orders payable to the Library. Allow 2-3 weeks for processing.
