How do I get a copy of an article that appeared in an International Reading Association journal?
Articles can be purchased from our Customer Service Department.

Who can use the Library?
Anyone can use the Ralph C. Staiger Library. Feel free to come in and ask questions, conduct research, or read. Materials in the library do not circulate, but can be used on the premises. Please call in advance to schedule an appointment.
Do you have copying facilities?
Yes, photocopiers are available. Remember, you are responsible for following all applicable copyright laws.
Can I donate my old books to the Library?
The Ralph C. Staiger Library is pleased to receive selected gifts relevant to our collections. If you'd like to make a donation, we ask that you first contact the Library to make appropriate arrangements. Due to space limitations, only selected items will be chosen for review and processing.
Donors should be advised that:
- Library personnel are prohibited from providing a formal appraisal of a gift's market value.
- Unless approved in advance, gifts of money or material with restrictions will not be accepted.
- We reserve the right to dispose of any duplicate or unsuitable items after close examination.
Types of materials not accepted:
- Textbooks
- Popular magazine back issues
- Duplicate scholarly journal back issues
- Mass-market paperbacks
- Pulp fiction
- Outdated computer software and manuals
- Paintings or other items unsuitable for library collections
The name and address of the donor are requested in order that gifts may be acknowledged and records of gifts maintained. If the donor wishes, such information may be kept confidential.
