Sign-ups for Winter 2010 Family Storytimes and Preschool Storytimes begin on Friday, December 18th.  Call 610-398-1361 to register or come into the Parkland Community Library to sign-up in person on December 18th or after that date.

Storytimes at the Parkland Community Library: The Parkland Community Library offers storytimes for children of all ages from infants to kindergarten and first grade students. All storytimes - except Drop-In storytimes  - require pre-registration and residency restrictions apply*. Check the different storytime descriptions for the one best suited to your family's needs. *Residency restrictions require a parent to have a current Parkland Community Library card and to live within the Parkland School District.  At the present time, Northwestern Lehigh School District residents may also attend storytimes at the Parkland Community Library.

Preschool Storytimes: ages 3 to 5 Preschool storytimes are for children between the ages of 3 and 5 who have not yet registered for kindergarten.  Pre-registration is required and residency restrictions apply. Sign-ups for Winter 2010 Storytimes will begin on December 18th, 2009.  Preschool storytimes will meet on: Wednesday from 1 to 1:30 pm - Jan. 6th through Feb. 17th, 2010. Thursday from 1 to 1:30 pm - Jan. 7th through Feb. 18th, 2010.   These days and times are subject to change.

Drop-in Storytimes: all ages Drop-in storytimes are for all ages.  No sign-ups are necessary.  No residency restrictions apply.  An adult must attend with every family group. Drop-in storytimes will meet on: Friday from 10:30 to 11 am - Jan.  8th through Feb. 19th, 2010

Family Storytimes: ages birth to 4 Family storytimes are geared for children between the ages of 18 and 36 months but older and younger siblings are welcome.    Pre-registration is required and residency restrictions apply. Sign-ups for Winter 2010 Storytimes begin on December 18th, 2009.   Family Storytimes meet on: Wednesday from 10:30 to 11 am - Jan. 6th through Feb. 17th, 2010. Thursday from 10:30 to 11 am - Jan. 7th through Feb. 18th, 2010. These days and times are subject to change.
