ADULT SERVICES: The Robert J. Kleberg Public Library maintains an up-to-date collection of reference and circulating materials covering all disciplines. In addition to the print collection, the library has a circulating collection of large print books, videos, DVD's, books on tape and CDs. The library also offers free [ WiFi ] and [ Internet ] access, and a [ computer lab ] with in-house printers. On-line searching over the Internet is available for our [ Learning Express Library ] and [ TexShare ] databases. The [ Information Desk ] Librarian is ready to assit patrons order books through our [ Inter-library Loan ] program for items that are not part of the collection. Please consult the library's online [ card catalog ] first and check our holdings. The staff is ready to assist and are bridges to help patrons access the collection with greater effectiveness.

PATRONS with DISABLILITIES: There is a handicap entrance and exit ramp located on east-side of the library in the Courtyard area. Handicap toilet facilities are also available. The [ Texas Talking Book ] program, a service to Texans who are unable to read standard print material due to visual, physical, or reading disablilities - whether permanent or temporary - is available for free. The program loans books and magazines in recorded cassettes, large print and Braille books. Thousands of titles are available in a wide variety of catergories, including classics, romances, science fiction, mysteries, westerns, children's selections, plus a special collection of books by Texas authors, books about Texas, and books in Spanish. The collection now includes over 80,000 titles and has reading materials for all ages from beginning readers to older adults. More than 70 different magazines such as Guideposts, Newsweek, Reader's Digest, and Texas Monthly are also available.

JUVENILE and YOUTH SERVICES: The Kleberg Public Library offers an array of [ children and youth services ] to its young patrons. The Library strives to enrich the lives of children and young adults by meeting their informational, recreational, and cultural needs. Library services are provided by a helpful and caring staff who pay attention to our young patrons and support their creative needs. We promote and provide free access to all library materials, including electronic resources. The library provides free [ Children's Internet ] access and a [ computer lab ] that features a welcoming area. Our children's computers have many great games that kids and teens can play and enjoy. The "TEEN" section has recently been spruced-up and expanded.
