USC students will read to the children! Meet Cocky the Mascot Children will receive a free book! Go Gamecocks!!! Friday, October 2nd No Program Friday, October 9th FIELD TRIP Field Trip to Fox Farms $4.00 per person Petting zoo, hay ride, and pumpkin hunt Each child will receive a pumpkin Meet at the library at 9:00 Directions: Take Hwy. 378 to Lexington. Join in the fun with leaf tracing, make a scarecrow, listen to stories about leaves, and hear the story of “Goldilocks and the Three Bears!” WEDNESDAY, October 21st 4:00PM: AFTERNOON PROGRAM It’s almost Halloween! Special guest, Storyteller Bob Linsenmayer known as “Mr. Bob” will share scary, Halloween stories with us! (appropriate for all ages) Friday, October 30th 10:00 Boo! Listen to Halloween stories, make a pumpkin lantern, a foam spider, and enjoy some “spooky” cupcakes! HAPPY HALLOWEEN! Friday, November 6th 10:00 Come see Native American artifacts and a complete demonstration by Native Americans! Friday, November 13th 10:00 Field Trip to the National Wild Turkey Federation.
