The Friends of the Temple Public Library support the library both through volunteer work and through fundraising. Their primary fundraisers are the two book sales which takes place over the Labor Day Weekend and in the early spring. Donations for the book sale are accepted at the library year round. Proceeds from the book sale are used to purchase items for the library. Members of the Friends of the Library are invited to a special preview sale before the sale opens to the public. Friends members also volunteer at the library, and are especially involved in the summer time story times. Membership forms are available at the library circulation desk.

The Friends Annual Meeting will be October 29, 2009 in the McLane Room on the 3rd floor of the library. All Friends members are welcome!
