Donations Can Make a Difference

HELP YOUR LIBRARY - BUY A BOOK!

Wondering how you can lend a helping hand to your local library? The Trinity County Library is experiencing difficult financial times which have resulted in a very limited book budget.

The Library gratefully accepts monetary donations for the purchase of new material. Money can be donated in care of the Trinity County Friends of the Library. You may even specify that the purchase be made in memory or honor of another person and the specific field of interest. A bookplate acknowledging donations can be prominently placed in the book identifying the donor or honoree.

Donations of gently used books and media are also a good way to give something back to the community when you no longer need the material. We are especially in need of recent bestsellers, popular current fiction and non-fiction, previously-viewed DVDs, audio CDs, books by specific authors, and clean copies of "classics". Donations of magazine subscriptions are an excellent way to contribute to your library. If you would like to contribute a magazine subscription, check with the County Librarian first in order to avoid duplication of titles. Your donation can make a difference to your local library!
