VBDL participates in the MeLCat state-wide interlibrary loan system, and is a member of the Woodlands Library Cooperative. You can interlibrary loan many out of print books and other special items by visiting the Michigan Electronic Library.

You will need your VBDL library card number for interloans from MeLCat. Only items that are "on the shelf" and "loanable" may be borrowed from the participating libraries.

If your loan request is rejected for any reason, please contact your local VBDL location or phone (269) 423-4771. Common reasons for this error include overdue charges on your VBDL card or a need to update your contact information.
