Construction of new Library in 1995. Building has 100 drilled piers, each 15 ft. deep; 1500 cubic yards of concrete; 75 tons of structural steel, 98,000 brick; and 600 pieces of limestone. This 20,000 sq. ft. building is 4 1/2 times the size of the old Library.
