Barbara Daigre Resigns
We are sad to announce the resignation of Barbara Daigre, our part-time Mobile Library Assistant.
Barbara joined the staff in September of 2006.
After more than 3 years of service, she resigned in December of 2009.
She will be missed by all who knew and worked with her.
Deborah Dixon is Hired
We are pleased to introduce Deborah Dixon, the library's new part-time Mobile Library Assistant.
Deborah joined the staff and began working in December of 2009, filling Barbara's position.
In a very short time Deborah has proven herself as the right choice for Barbara's replacement.
Please join us in welcoming Deborah.
Book Ends Newsletter
Our 1st Quarter 2010 newsletter, "Book Ends", will be available at the library in January 2010. You will also be able to view it on our web page by clicking on the "The Library" button and choosing "newsletter".
Prime Time - Family Reading Time
Prime Time - Family Reading Time will be held at Chamberlin Elementary School.
The 6-week program will be on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m., January 7 - February 11.
VITA at the Library
Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) volunteers will provide FREE income tax preparation assistance at the library to low-income, elderly, disabled and limited English-speaking people.
Volunteers will be here on Tuesdays and Thursdays, January 19 - April 15, 5:00 to 7:30 p.m.
