Meet the Children's Librarian

Cory Landon

Children's Librarian

Cory grew up in small-town Illinois. He spent several years as a teacher in Arizona before moving to Kirksville in 2005. "Mr. Landon"  continued to teach once he arrived in Missouri, first in Milan, then at Ray Miller for the last four years. Cory's wife, Lorri, is a pastor in La Plata and his children, Alex and Ella, are in 4th and 6th grades.

Cory Loves to read with children and get them excited about books. He is also interested in finding ways to make the library a more inviting place for teens and tweens. He has many exciting activities planned for the kids of Adair County.
