    The Friends of the Adair County Public Library are dedicated to supporting the goal of the Adair County Public Library—to provide the best possible library service for all citizens of Adair County.
  • The functions of the Friends of the Library are subject to the wishes and approval of the Library Board of Trustees and the Library Director.

    Friends of the Library:
    • Serve as liaison to the community
    • Encourage donations and bequests
    • Fund special needs
    • Organize and operate the book sales
    • Sponsor book discussion groups
    • Sponsor programs
    • Support the Children’s Summer Reading Program
    • Help publicize Library activities and needs
    • Encourage volunteers
    Friends of the Library is a non-profit organization.
