How do I put a hold on something that is checked out? 1. Type the search words in the text box. In this example we will look for the title, Yoga for Dummies. Then click on the red button labeled search.
2. You will then be presented with a list of titles that contain the words "yoga for dummies". Now click on the blue underlined title of the item you want to place a hold on. Click on the title not the check box. 3.This will bring you to the title screen. From the title screen, click on the hold request button 4. This will bring you to the hold request screen 5. Enter the ## digit number on the back of your library card in the first box without any spaces, for example ############ 6. Enter your PIN #### in the second box 7. Click the Submit Request button or hit Enter. (You do not need to select a pickup branch unless you plan to pick up your item at a different branch than you normally use.) 8. You will see a confirmation screen showing that your hold was successful. If you are still having difficulty placing a hold, a librarian would be happy to help you.
