Lending Periods:

7 days		Videos - DVD or VHS format
2 weeks		Books, audio books, magazines, musical CDs
Renewals:		No renewals on NEW books, DVDs, or VHS videos
		No renewals on Interlibrary loan materials.
		All other items may be renewed once (additional 2 weeks)

Checkout Limit:

Books, audio books		Eight (8) in any combination
DVD's, VHS videos		Two (2)/each type
Musical CDs		Two (2)
Magazines		No limit

Those with temporary cards may check out a limit of two items of any type at a time.

Colorado Library Card holders have the same privileges as temporary residents.

Fines for overdue materials:

$.25/day (maximum of $1.00 adults/$.50 student)		NEW books
$1.00/day (maximum of $2.00)		DVDs and VHS
$.05/day (maximum of $1.00 adults/$.50 student)		All other materials

If there is a fine on your record, no additional materials can be checked out until the fine has been paid.

Patrons are responsible for materials that are lost or damaged through carelessness. The total cost of the item will be charged for books, magazines, musical CDs, VHS and DVDs.

Audio book charges are $7.95 for each cassette or CD that is lost or damaged; total cost of the item if the entire audio book has been lost or damaged by carelessness.

Refunds for lost materials will be given only during a six-month period following payment. The patron must have the original receipt, and a processing fee of $2.00 will apply.

We do understand that some materials fail with age and usage, especially audio and videotapes. Please inform us when returning a damaged item so that we may repair it, replace it, or remove it from our collection.
