Under the supervision of the Bertram Library Director, the Oakalla Public Library is staffed by Joan Eaton who is responsible for the operations of the library facility in Oakalla. She provides library service to adults and youth in the community. She assists home schooled children with library materials. She works with the Friends of the Oakalla Public Library to purchase library materials for the library. She provides programs and organizes library community events. She evaluates gifts and donations for inclusion into the collection.

The services of the Oakalla Public Library are:
-Open to the public for 9 hours per week;
- General circulation of library materials;
- Ready reference and information assistance;
- Youth collection and programs;
- Home schooling support;
- And public computer assistance.

Hours
1st Monday of month - 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
3rd Monday of month - 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
Tuesdays - 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
2nd & 4th Saturdays - 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.
