Kimball Library's circulation system is by The Library Corporation entitled Library• Solution. This system gives anyone 24/7/365 remote access with a current, activated barcode and pin number which is available from De Queen or Nashville staff.

Kimball Library, named for the late Evelyn and Ray Kimball, publishers of the De Queen Daily Citizen and De Queen Bee, is located on the lower floor of the Kimball Complex along with an Internet lab for use by CCCUA students taking internet classes. The upper floor, the Donn Allison Technology Center houses the CCCUA Bookstore, computer labs, classrooms, LPN classroom/lab and staff offices.


Kimball Library is available for use by the CCCUA students, faculty, staff and members of the community in CCCUA’s service area. That service area includes Sevier, Howard, Little River and Pike counties. An additional location of the Kimball Library is at Nashville.


Kimball Library has an extensive collection of print and non-print materials. General interests, medical and education-related periodicals are included in the magazines to which the Library subscribes. Local, regional, and statewide newspapers are available at the Library.


The Library also has access to many academic online library resources, including:

Facts on File: American History Online, Ferguson's Career Guidance, Issues & Controversies, Modern World History Online, Today's Science, U.S. Government Online, World News Digest;

and SIRS.

Learning Online availability of these resources are on the CCCUA website under the drop down menu Kimball Library, Distance Education or current students. Special collections in the Kimball Library include the Arkansas Collection. Items are available through Inter-Library Loan from other libraries across the nation.

De Queen Fall 2009 hours are:
Monday – Thursday 7:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Friday 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM.

Nashville hours are:
Monday & Wednesday 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM,
Tuesday 8:00 AM - 9:30 AM, 11:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Thursday 8:00 AM – 1:30 AM.
