Career Online High School

The Charlotte County Library System is happy to announce that it is now offering Career Online High School (COHS). Please select the link on this page.

We are offering a limited number of COHS scholarships, allowing adult learners, ages 19 and over, to earn an accredited high school diploma as well as a career certificate in one of eight high-demand career fields.

The program can be accessed twenty four hours a day, seven days a week, via the internet, meaning students can work at their own pace and when it is convenient for them.

Students are paired with an academic coach who they can reach as frequently as they’d like.

To be considered for the program, applicants must be over 19 years old, have a library card, and show a willingness and ability to dedicate ten hours a week to coursework.

Career Online High School is made available through a partnership with Gale Cengage and Smart Horizons Career Online Education.
