Instructions for Submitting an Interloan Request

Lending Policies

  1. Items will be available for lending based on the size of the collection, patron demand, and the limits of the technology.

  2. Melcat transactions will follow the MeL Checkout and Renewal guidelines. All other items may be renewed once subject to hold status.

Borrowing Policies

  1. Borrowers who have overdue materials or overdue interloans will not be allowed to use the interloan service until overdue materials are returned and the fines paid.

  2. Items will not be borrowed from libraries that charge.

  3. Due to the varying renewal practices of other libraries we cannot offer renewal of items borrowed for CRDL patrons.

  4. Patrons are responsible for any fees associated with requesting journal articles or photocopies.

  5. The library retains the right to limit interloan requests to a reasonable number.

  6. Patrons who utilize the interloan service are subject to all CRDL circulation policies.
