1.
Purpose
Veterans Memorial Library has A/V equipment for patrons to
view instructional, educational, as well as recreational videos.
2. User
Rules
-
Children under the age of 6 must be accompanied by a
parent, legal guardian, or adult caretaker while viewing videos.

Headphones must be used while viewing
videos.

The user must have video privileges on their
library account and check out the intended video at the circulation desk.
The video will be checked out on a special loan for 3 hours. Patrons are responsible for all materials checked out on
their account.

There is no charge for in-house viewing.

There is a limit of 2 users at a station, with
the exception of an adult watching with children.

There is a limit of three hours per day per
user for viewing videos.

Stations will be available for use during all of the
hours the library is open, until 15 minutes before closing.
3.
Conditions of Use

All library equipment will be managed in a manner consistent with
the Conduct of Library Users posted in the library.

Parents using library equipment are expected to attend to
their children in accordance with the library's policy on the Safety
and Well-being of Children.

Failure to use the equipment in an appropriate
and responsible manner will result in loss of those privileges.
Illegal or unethical acts involving library equipment may also be subject to
prosecution by local, state, or federal authorities.
