CRDL Online

Chippewa River District Library has a variety of online resources for your pleasure or research needs. They include eBooks, downloadable audio, downloadable movies, blogs, chat with a librarian and much more. Your access to these wonderful resources and tools begins here!

To connect to our online resources from any Internet computer:
  1. Click on the Connect at Home button in the tab bar or on the Web Sources page.
  2. Enter your library card number as your Patron ID Number and your PIN Number (the last 4 digits of your phone number.)
  3. Click Submit Request.
  4. Choose any resource from the list. Enter your search information and enjoy!
  5. If you have any difficulty, please contact a Reference Librarian at 773-3242 for assistance.

Downloadable Audio Books

CRDL now has several popular titles from NetLibrary for you to download to your computer and sync with your portable player. Click here for detailed instructions.

Electronic Databases

CRDL subscribes to many Internet based services that provide excellent quality, easy-to-use reference information. Use the Web Resources button on our Web pages to access these resources and view more information about individual products.

To access these resources outside of the library, click on the Connect at Home button.

MyLibraryDV

MyLibraryDV is a unique video-on-demand service created by Recorded Books and your library. Do a one-time download of the player and then start downloading movies!

(CRDL) offers a Library eBook collection of approximately 8000 titles to its patrons through cooperation with netLibrary and the Michigan Electronic Library (MEL). Most books in the collection are non-fiction, selected for reference use on home, office, and homework issues. In addition, the eBook collection includes over 3000 publicly accessible classic eBooks and political documents.

Tumblebooks is a fun, educational collection of animated e-books, games and puzzles for kids.  Tumblereadables offers many read along books for older kids.  Both collections are accessible both inside and outside of the library!
