The Robin Connell Trio

Robin Connell is a Detroit native who spent most the 80's immersed in the New York Jazz scene. Currently residing in Grand Rapids, Michigan, where she is primarily known as a jazz pianist/vocalist. Sought after as composer-arranger, Connel's commissioned and published works for big bands include an original composition for the 1998 Massachusetts All-State Band (she also conducted the band).

Playing trombone for the trio is Robin's husband Paul Brewer. Paul has appeared as guest artist and conductor at dozens of schools, festivals and conferences throughout the U.S.

Rounding out the trio is Elgin Vines.
