Teen Volunteers

Teen Volunteer forms are put out every April 1, or the business day closest if it is on a Sunday.  Teens are invited to fill out a form and choose times or events that work within their interests and summer schedule.  Our children's LIbrarian, Darbie LaFontain, will interview applicants around the middle of May to see what their summer schedule looks like.  Some teens love to work with crafts and children, others prefer setting up or tearing down after events,  while others man the registration desk. We accept 25-30 volunteers each summer.

Points can be given for National Junior Honor Society.

During the school year, we accept one volunteer a nine weeks and that is arranged by talking to Darbie.
