*Service Counselors to America’s Small Business (SCORE) www.score.org/ an available network of 10,000 previous business executives that will help you one on one. Several workshops at the site i.e. how to price services .etc

*Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business www.cox.smu.edu/intranet/bic/guides/AZ Free access to the Cox School of Business repository of business information. A small sampling of information at the site includes the County business pattern, business demographics and information specifically available for entrepreneurs.

Through their events, e-mail newsletter, website and in-person Incubator programs Ladies Who Launch provides a venue for motivated women to exchange products and services, ideas, and strategic relationships. It contains such topics as guides in structuring a business, locating/expanding a business, employee guidelines, marketing, protecting your ideas, international trade and tax planning and running a small business. Even though some of the information is tailored to New York City business much of the procedures can be equally applied to businesses in other parts of the country

* eVenturing-Kauffman www.eventuring.org/ Free site containing many guides for entrepreneurs on the path to high growth. The site articles, written by entrepreneurs for entrepreneurs, and aggregates “the best of the best” content on the Web related to starting and running high-impact companies. Site covers all facets of entrepreneurship from product pricing, pricing strategy, financial management, funding sources, sales, staffing management etc

*Edward Lowe Foundation www.lowe.org/ Foundation supports existing small business that are successful and want to move up to the next level Hundreds of articles and briefs from presidents and business owners exist on the site. The main focus is on micro, small and medium scale enterprises, cooperatives, community economic development, both in developed and developing countries. Information on the site is rated as to value. Find out the best resources on business education and business administration

* Quicken Site www.quicken/small_business includes free information on such topics as getting licenses and permits, how to start, run and grow a business. Also visit the Quicken Learning Center for topics on advertising standards, hiring employees.hiring problems and how to qualify your corporation etc

* Advertising Age www.adage.com/ You can subscribe to the site/magazine but the site offers many free full articles on business news.

*BizJournals.com www.bizjournals.com/ Source of business new for many major US cities. Site includes information on sales leads, tips in choosing a market by city and technology Free registration allows you to search the archives.

* BusinessWeek www.businessweek.com/ Includes a lot of free articles on small business plus current magazine. Full access is available for a fee
