A Flexible Program
Capable of Responding to the Needs, and Improving the Lives of its Patrons

• EMOS - Home Delivery provides delivery of library materials to members of the community who are unable to visit the library in person. Patrons of this service may request specific materials such as:
      Books
      Audio Books
  Magazines
      CD music
      DVDs/videos   

• The EMOS staff can assist patrons by choosing selections based on their preferences  in areas of subject, author, or type of print. 

• When materials are desired:
       EMOS - Home Delivery patrons should call the library at 925-2414 ext. 504
       Place a written request with the EMOS driver during deliveries. 

• Delivery/pick up of materials:
      The materials are delivered during regularly scheduled runs to patron's private homes or residential care centers
      EMOS drivers drop off the new materials in a special EMOS delivery bag and pick up the bag from the previous delivery with the materials the patron wishes to have returned 
     

• At the library, the EMOS staff will:
      Check in returned materials
      Process any renewals
      Process requests that were made during the visits 

• Loan period for EMOS patrons:
     Books, magazines,CDs, books-on-tape/books-on-CD may be checked out for two week
     Videos are checked out for one week, from one delivery to the next
     If an EMOS patron wishes to keep materials for a longer period, they are asked to:
          renew their books by telephone
          ask the EMOS delivery drivers to have materials renewed for them
