Everyone is welcome to use the collection on site. To check out materials, a valid card from Eckhart Public Library or Public Library Access Card (PLAC) is required.

Loan Period:
Two weeks unless otherwise noted. Most materials may be renewed in person or by phone, 925-2414.
Returned Materials:
Borrowed materials are to be returned to the circulation desk, after-hours deposit box located at the Van Buren Street main entrance or curb-side book drop located on Twelfth Street.
Damaged Materials:
Fines will be assessed to patrons for damaged materials which are not the result of normal wear and tear. The library will also charge replacement costs for lost or misplaced materials.
Overdue Fines:
$.05 per day for each printed material, audio tapes, and CD's. $.50 per day for each video cassette or DVD's. Patrons, with a fine of $1.00 or more will not be allowed to check materials from the Eckhart Public Library.
