When Charles Eckhart offered a library to the city of Auburn, he stated that he wanted a room which would be available, free of charge to the public. I keeping with these wishes and recognizing the need to provide this service to the community, the Eckhart Public Library Board of Trustees offers three meeting rooms in the library. These rooms are:

The Alice Willennar Close Community Room with a capacity of 50 people.

The Honaker-Graber Study Room with a capacity of 6 people.

The Board Meeting Room with a capacity of 8 people.

These rooms are available at no charge for non-profit groups who want to hold meetings or present programs of civic, educational, or cultural purposes subject to the following conditions:

Library-sponsored programs take precedence over other groups at all times.

It is the responsibility of the person scheduling the meeting to inform the library of any cancellations. Please give as much notice as possible so that other groups can use the rooms.
