Checkout Period
- Regular Books - 2 weeks, New Books -2 weeks
- Audiobooks - 2 weeks
- Magazines - 2 weeks
- VHS and DVD - 1 week
Checkout limits
Due to quantity or popularity, some items are limited. These limits apply to each library account, not each person using the account.
- VHS tapes - 10 adult + 10 childrens for a total of 20
- DVDs - a total of 10 per account
- Magazines - 10 adult + 10 youth + 10 childrens for a total of 30
- Music CDs - 10
Renewals
Renewals may be done in person or by phone by calling 882-5016. Items on reserve may not be renewed. Renewals of Interlibrary loan (ILL) materials must be coordinated through the ILL department. Due to popularity, some items are not renewable. The following limits apply:
- Books, audiobooks, music CDs and magazines may be renewed five time.
- Books marked "NEW" may be renewed once.
- VHS tapes may be renewed once.
- DVDs may be renewed once.
Reserves/Holds
Reserves are accepted for any item except videos and DVDs. You may place a reserve yourself through the Public Access on-line Catalog (PAC), by phone or in person at the library. We will notify you by phone when the item becomes available, and will hold it for your pickup for 5 days. There is no limit on the number of reserves you may place at any one time.
Returning materials
Library materials may be returned during library hours or after hours in the book drop located in the main lobby. The lobby is open 24 hours a day.
