Rebecca Huggins is a native of Indiana. She earned an MLS degree from the University of Washington in Seattle, and moved to Fairfield in 1985. Her son and daughter were born and raised in this community.
In 2005, Iowa's Governor Vilsack certified Rebecca at the highest level for Public Library Management. Prior to her employment at Fairfield Public Library, her professional experience was in business librarianship.
