Tonight Suyra Zeeb will teach the FIRST in a series of four Tuesday workshops in the Library's meeting room: January 30, February 6, 13 and 20. Surya graduated with an MBA from MUM in 2010. Since then he has worked as an internet marketing consultant, web designer, and has taught internet marketing at MUM for five years.
Session 1: Websites and landing pages
The first session will cover options for website creation, user experience design and website conversion principles, search engine optimization, and more!
Session 2: Social media
The second session will cover how to effectively utilize social media for business in the context of the most popular platforms and we will discuss tools that help simplify the work in this area.
Session 3: Online Advertising
In the third session Zeeb will introduce the most commonly used advertising platforms and will cover targeting, effective ad creation, and more!
Session 4: Analytics and Tracking
The final session will cover how to track user behavior on your website, how to test content, and how to determine the effectiveness of different pages on a website.
Funding for the workshops is part of a year-long grant that the M.U.M. College of Business received from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. There is no admission fee, and advance registration is not required.
