Presenter Vicki Alexander Herriott received a BA in Psychology from Wellesley College, a J.D. from Boston University School of Law, and an LL.M. in Taxation from New York University School of Law. She worked as a Tax Associate in the Boston law firm of Sullivan and Worchester before joining the faculty of Maharishi University of Management. She is a Professor of Law and Government, Chair of the Department of Management, and has served in many other administrative roles at the University. While still a law student she organized her first nonprofit organization; The Institute for Research on Consciousness and Human Development. The Institute conducted ground-breaking research in such diverse areas as longevity in institutionalized elderly and international conflict resolution.

Funding for the workshops is part of a year-long grant that the M.U.M. College of Business received from the U.S. Department of Agriculture. There is no admission fee, and advance registration is not required.
