ELIGIBLE BORROWERS


A library card is made available, free-of-charge, to all persons living within the city limits of Greenville, Texas.

Persons who are 18 years of age or older, who reside within Hunt County but live outside Greenville are welcome to use the library facility and its resources but must pay an annual $20 fee in order to obtain a library card and check out materials. Young people 17 years of age and younger who reside in Hunt County but outside Greenville, Texas may obtain a library card, free-of-charge, as long as one parent/legal guardian registers for a card and pays the annual fee.

All persons who live in Texas, but outside of Hunt County are welcome to use the library facility and its resources but must pay an annual $40 fee in order to obtain a library card and check out materials.

A registration form must be completed and signed in order to obtain a library card. With proof of current address, a library card will be issued to persons 18 years of age and older. Young people 17 years of age and under must be accompanied by one of their parents or legal guardians, who must sign the registration form assuming responsibility for any lost or damaged items that are borrowed, and provide proof of current address before a library card will be issued.
