Heritage Public Library's Charles City Branch will hold its Grand Opening on Saturday, May 10, 2008 from 10:00am-2:00pm in the Multi-Purpose room of the Courthouse. Mission Statement
The mission of Heritage Library is to provide library materials and services to help the citizens of Charles City and New Kent counties meet their educational, informational and recreational needs. More specifically, the Library should promote the enjoyment and necessity of reading, the discovery of knowledge and culture in all their forms, and the advantages and pleasures of life-long learning. Special emphasis is placed on stimulating children's interest in and appreciation of reading and learning.
