Piggy Bank Tales

Join us for Piggy Bank Tales, a preschool story time Mondays at 10:30am through May 22nd. Learn about money in a kid friendly way with topics like spending, saving and earning.


Block Party

Saturdays May 13, June 17, and July 15 at 10am-11am

Come enjoy the library’s special all-new universal wooden blocks and playsets from Lakeshore Learning- over 300 blocks in 25 shapes! Build a tower, a neighborhood, or create your own story! Block play builds math, technology and science skills, social skills, language and literacy skills and creativity!

Block parties are a FREE open play program, recommended for children ages 3-6.


Play K Storytime

June 8, July 6, and August 3 at 6 pm

Come enjoy our new “Play K” story time one Thursday evening each month practice and build skills for kindergarten. These story times will mimic circle time at school, so kids entering kindergarten can practice skills like sitting still and raising their hand in a positive and playful environment.

Each month will feature a different themed play and learn center, called a playscape, with materials like books and interactive toys for more play-based learning. The playscapes will also be available throughout the month for kids and their adults during regular library hours.


Cyber Storytime

June 22, July 27, and August 10 at 6pm

In an effort to improve digital literacy, the Library will be offering monthly Cyber Story Times. This format will incorporate appropriate iPad technology into a story time setting to allow children to develop digital literacy skills needed to succeed in school.


Worm Races

Saturday, June 3rd at 11 am

Bookworms won’t be the only worms found at the library today! Bring your own earthworm contestant to participate in all the wiggly fun. Does your worm have what it takes to win?
