- In order to receive a library card from the Jasper/Dubois County Public Library an individual must present identification that includes their current address and complete a Library Card Application Form
- Individuals under the age of 16 must have the signature of a parent/guardian
- Library cards will expire each year on the first day of the patron’s birth month
- Minor children (under age 18) will be linked to the record of their parents/guardians
- Parents/guardians will be responsible for late charges and any fees incurred by their minor children (under age 18)
- Library cards will be issued free of charge to residents of Jasper and Dubois County and to residents of reciprocating libraries
- All others must purchase either a non resident card for a fee of $30.00 per year or a PLAC card for a fee of $30.00 per year. A non resident card is valid only at the issuing library. A PLAC card is valid at any public library in Indiana. Any nonresident who does not have a library card from their home library or any library in Indiana must first purchase a non resident card in order to purchase a PLAC card (Indiana Codes 4-23-7.1-5.1 NC 20-14-3-1.1)
- There is a charge of $1.00 to replace a lost or stolen library card
