The Squam Lakes Science Center is a combination of outdoor exhibits and self-guided tours which explore the nature of New Hampshire. The center offers a variety of different exhibits on many animals of the state such as the Black Bear, White Tailed Deer and Mountain Lion. There are several acres of trails and gardens to explore as well as a picnic area, snack bar and gift shop.
The Science Center is located in Holderness and is open May 1-November 1, 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m. the Library has a pass for each day of the week and each pass admits two people free and four additional people at a discounted rate.
