CSI: Fact and Fiction 3/16/2017 6:30 p.m. - 3/16/2017

Professor Mike Cross will discuss whether popular crime shows on television accurately depict the role of forensic science in solving crimes, as well as the myths and realities of crime scene investigations. You will learn the strengths and limitations of modern forensics and have a chance to test your won skills at crime solving! Cross is an Assistant Professor of Chemistry at Northern Essex Community College. Cross is department chair of Natural Sciences at NECC where he teaches chemistry and forensic science. The program starts at 6:30 pm and will be held in Laconia Rotary Hall.
