Soil Health: The World at Your Feet
Learn more about the world beneath your feet. Celebrate Earth Day by learning about soil! If you’ll be caring for a lawn, planting flower boxes, or growing a vegetable garden this year, this class is for you. Not only will you learn how to enhance soil fertility and optimize production, we will also explore the living relationship between bacteria, fungi, soil and plants. Master Gardener, Herbalist and Permaculture Designer, Ana Gourlay, will discuss the finer points of soil stewardship as well as the importance of soil conservation and responsible water use.
Join us here at the Laconia Public Library on Tuesday, April 18 at 6:30 p.m. in Laconia Rotary Hall. Admission is free and open to the public.
