Computer Rules
Computer Rules

You must sign in at the circulation desk to use a computer.

One computer per library card.

You may not use another patron's card or barcode
information.

Maximum of people to a computer: 2

Maximum use: 1 hour
when patrons are waiting

NO pornographic images or text may be viewed

NO installing software
-
NO downloading or storing files
-
NO use of chat rooms

NO disk drive usage
-
NO game playing
-
NO food or drinks anywhere in the library

NO loitering anywhere in the library
-
Parents/Guardians may not leave children under 10
unattended

Children under age 13 may not use computers without parent
or guardian.

DO NOT harass or annoy other patrons (includes, but is not
limited to: spinning on chairs, throwing paper, talking
loudly & running)
Library privileges may be suspended by the Library
Director for violations of these rules.
Non-member Use of Computers
Non-members may use the computers for 1 day for a fee of $5.
There is a limit of 1 hour while others are waiting. When the
first hour is up, the user may sign up for another hour, when a
computer becomes available. If no one is waiting, the user may
use the computer for more than 1 hour. The user must show
identification, pay and sign that the Internet Use Policy was
read before using a computer.
Costs
Cost of printing from computers: $.10 per page.
Charge to photocopy: $.15 per black and white copy.
