Donation Policy
Donations Policy
Acceptable donations:
-
cash
-
new computers
-
new fiction or non-fiction books
(2 box maximum)
-
recent (2000-present), good condition, used fiction,
non-fiction and textbooks (for book sale)
(2 box maximum)
Non-acceptable donations:
-
old computers
-
old (1999 and earlier) fiction, non-fiction books
-
Bad condition fiction or non-fiction books
-
condensed Reader's Digest books
-
textbooks
-
magazines
-
newspapers
Donated books and AV. materials that are appropriate to
the library's collection will be cataloged and added to the
collection. Book and AV. materials that are not useful to
the collection will be added to the book sale. Book Sale
Prices:
-
Hardback Books $1.00
-
AV. Materials $1.00
-
Paperback Books $.50
The patron will receive a thank you letter for every
donation. If the patron wishes,
the letter can act as a receipt for donated items.
Memorial donations will receive a special book place and a
letter will go out to the family of loved one.
