WELCOME TO THE JUNGLE! The kids Summer Reading Club, "Welcome to the Jungle" is in full swing! Check the kid's page tab above for more details!
We're having teens and adults reading clubs too!
Teens...for every hour you read you'll get a ticket to put in one of the cool prize jars. We'll be picking a winning ticket from each jar at the end of the program so the more you read the more chances you have to win! Sign up in the children's area.
Adults...for every book you read you'll receive a ticket to put in one of the prize jars. Great summer reading and prizes too - what could be easier! Sign up at the circulation desk.
Check out My Library Book Store Of course we have a great library, but sometimes there’s a book or video or even a CD we’d like that the library doesn’t have available. Now you have the chance to purchase it, have it delivered to your door, and make a donation to the library with just a few clicks of your mouse!
When you click on the “My Library Bookstore” tab at the top of this page, you’ll have access to over a million books, movies, and music you can order and have delivered right to your home. The profits from your purchases will be donated to the Leander Public Library to get more books for the Library. You’ll be helping the Library’s collection grow as your home library grows. It’s a win-win situation!
But that’s not all… when you donate the items you’ve purchased from My Library Bookstore to the Leander Public Library, you’ll get a discount on your next purchase from My Library Bookstore.
So if you’re looking for something the library doesn’t have, check out My Library Bookstore and support your library!

Our purpose is to encourage the creative process of writing.
