THE LEE- ITAWAMBA LIBRARY SYSTEM'S AUTOMATION SYSTEM IS DEDICATED TO THE GENEROUS AND CHARITABLE LEGACY OF AUDREY BRASFIELD HANEY.


The Lee-Itawamba Library System contracted with The Library Corporation of Inwood, West Virginia, to install TLC's Library.Solution, an integrated, native Windows NT -based library automation system. The automated system was installed and operational in September of 2002.

Funding for this project was provided by the State of Mississippi's 1999 Public Libraries Improvement Program Grant and the Audrey Brasfield Haney Estate. The donation from Mrs. Haney's estate provided the matching funds for the project. This automation project is dedicated to the generous and charitable legacy of Audrey Brasfield Haney.

Her concern for the future of the Lee County Library has left a significant and lasting impact in the provision of quality library services.
