Afghan war grows more visible in U.S.

The casket of Marine Capt. Kyle Van De Giesen is carried out of the St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in North Attleborough, Mass., on Nov. 6.Van De Giesen died in a helicopter crash in Afghanistan. A record number of Afghan war deaths in October has forced the U.S. to take new notice of Afghanistan as debate rages over whether President Obama should send tens of thousands more troops.
